Recently I have been searching bout healthy baking…then I am trying to use fruits into my cakes and also wholewheat flour  in order too cook them J It is quite nice how much confidence they have on my cooking aptitudes hehehehe. …In this case I used some persimmon given by one of my workmates

Recientemente he estado investigando sobre formas saludables de hacer pasteles….por lo tanto estoy usando frutas y harinas integrales…en este caso usé caquis que me dio un compañero de trabajo para que los cocinase J es agradable ver la confianza que tienen en mis aptitudes en la cocina hehehe

Talking about other things this outfit is something that I bought in my second day sales date!!! I like the skirt so much and it looks nice (in my opinion) with this tshirt but I am still looking for a formal shirt or sweater to use it in a more formal situations. 

Hablando sobre otras cosas…este outfit es de ropa que compré en mi segundo día de rebajas!!! Me gusta mucho la falda  y como queda con esta camiseta pero aún estoy buscando una camisa que combine para ponerla en un ambiente más formal.

Hello dears;

Today I feel without time to do nothing…..sometimes since I started work I am not being able to live, I mean that there are too many things in my life that I am not able to do always because I don’t have time enough….to work 9-10h per day or at least spend this time since you leave to work and you come back is too much…..What are your trick to optimize your days?

                                            

Hoy me siento sin tiempo para nada….a veces desde que empecé a trabajar es como si no fuese capaz de vivir, me refiero a que hay demasiadas cosas en mi vida que no soy capaz de hacer porque no tengo el tiempo suficiente….trabajar 9-20h por día o al menos gastar ese tiempo desde que te vas al trabajo y vuelves es demasiado….Cuales son tus trucos para optimizar tus días?

Hi dears:

Today just show you some pictures of Venice. In this case we will start seeing the wonderful Café Florian at San Marcos Square where I drank the best milk with almond syrup ever. Hot chocolate here was ok as coffee, but the best is to drink this milk the prepare or their the  :)

Hoy solo mostraros algunas fotos de Venecia. En este caso os enseñaré el Café Florian en la Plaza de San Marcos donde tomé la mejor leche con sirope de almendras del mundo. El chocolate era bueno, como el café pero lo mejor es tomar la leche que ellos preparan o su té. :)

Hi my ladys:

Today is being such a strange day. I woke up and the weather was bad, it was rainning and forecast said that it was to be worst as the day continue.. I pick up he first clothes in my closet and now I feel I kind of the stupid at the office with a red thins :s I think I will put a message at my wardrobe saying remember that you have to wear properly clothes to go to the office…

Hoy está siendo un día raro. Me desperté con un tiempo malo, estaba lloviendo y las predicciones decían que no iba si no  a empeorar. Cogí lo primeo que vi en el armario y ahora me siento tonta en la oficina al llevar puestas unas medias rojas :S Creo que voy a poner un papel en mi armario recordándome que debo venir propiamente  vestida a la oficina…

Anyway I am going to compensate my informal outfit with pictures of the great Katie Holmes, I like her so much, she has style and after being a Victoria Beckam clone she showed every body that she had her own style with her “boyfriend jeans” and more bohemian outfits.

De todos modos voy a compensar mi conjunto informal con fotos de la maravillosa Katie Holmes, Me gusta mucho, tiene estilo y después de haber sido un clon de Victoria Beckam se lo demostró a todo el mundo sus por ejemplo “boyfriend jeans” y otros looks más bohemios.

In these Pictures she is wearing a great dress and the whole models are terrible good….What do you think? Do you like Katie or on the contrary are one of those persons who think she is as we say in Spanish “without salt”?

Mississippi Mud Cake

Today is all about cakes. Before my “break” I told you that I had prepared a pie for a good friend´s birthday. Luckily the pie has a big success, the truth was that I was very scared because there will be too much people but this cake is perfect because is very heavy so people doesn´t like to eat too much. 

Hoy es todo sobre postres. Antes de mi “descansito” os conté que había preparado la tarta de cumpleaños para la fiesta de una amiga. Afortunadamente la tarta fue un éxito. La verdad es que estaba muy asustada porque iba a haber mucha gente pero esta tarta fue perfecta ya que es un poco empalagosa y con un poquito que se coma ya es suficiente.

La receta:

Ingredients:
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 cup self-rising flour
1/2 cup baking cocoa
1 cup chopped pecans
1 jar (7 ounces) marshmallow creme
***FROSTING***
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
3 3/4 cups confectioners' sugar
3 tablespoons baking cocoa
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
4 tablespoons milk, more if needed
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine flour and cocoa; gradually add to creamed mixture. Fold in the pecans. Transfer to a greased 13-inch x 9-inch x 2-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 F for 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 3 minutes (cake will fall in the center). Spoon the marshmallow creme over cake; carefully spread to cover top. Cool completely. For frosting, in a mixing bowl, cream butter. Beat in confectioners' sugar, cocoa, vanilla and enough milk to achieve frosting consistency. Fold in pecans. Spread over marshmallow creme layer. Store in the refrigerator.

Finally.... I am back!!!

Hello my dears!!!   

I know that there have been a long time since my last publication but the truth is that I have been very very busy with work, family, friends, etc...Actually I went on holidays and I could enjoy more than my people because as I told you previously went to Venice also (For sure I will show you pictures!!)    

Sé que ha pasado mucho tiempo desde mi última publicación, pero la verdad es que he estado muy muy ocupada con el trabajo, la familia, amigos, etc De hecho me fui de vacaciones y pude disfrutar además de mi gente porque    tal y como os dije previamente me fui a Venecia. (os enseñaré fotos!!)

Now talking about the clothes;  I bought this jacket in  sales...I know that there is a simple jacket but I love it so much, besides it is very very warm and during the day I felt more like living in Caribbean than in Lisbon :).

Hablando sobre la ropa, me compré esta chaqueta en las rebajas…se que es una chqueta simple pero me gusta mucho, además es muy muy calentita y durante el día me siento como si estuviese en el Caribe en vez de en Lisboa :)

 By the way New Year to me starts with a list of purposes for this time....any suggestion?? Do you do your new year purposes??? 

Por cierto, El nuevo año comienza para mi con una lista de propósitos para este tiempo…alguna sugerencia??? Tenéis lista de propósitos de año nuevo??
